Data quality drives your revenue. It shouldn’t be a black box.
Good data means more conversations and more meetings. Here is ours, measured every week on real enrichment requests.
of contacts get an email
professional verified emails
of contacts got a mobile number
The rest of this page uses the verified figures. What coverage, accuracy and verified hit rate mean
Coverage, accuracy, verified hit rate: three different numbers
Providers quote all three, often without saying which. They don’t measure the same thing, so they can’t be compared with each other.
Coverage
The share of contacts for which a provider returns an email or a number at all, whatever its type and before any check. It is the biggest number, although not the most useful on its own.
97%Zeliq raw email coverage
Accuracy
The share of returned emails or numbers that actually work. It is measured after use, through bounces and calls that connect, and only on the data a provider returned. A provider can be very accurate on the few contacts it finds.
Zeliq only returns emails that passed two checks, and verifies every phone number again each week.
99%Zeliq accuracy
Verified hit rate
The share of your contacts for which you get data you can use: a professional email that passed two checks, or a mobile. It is what turns into conversations, so it is what we publish.
Zeliq verified email hit rate
Where the numbers come from, how fresh they are and when to read them with care: How we measure
Hit rate, country by country
Most coverage maps show how many contacts a vendor holds. This one shows how often we actually return an email or a mobile.
What will Zeliq find for the people you sell to?
Hit rate by industry
Why some industries score higher
Office-based sectors such as technology, finance and professional services use one email format on a company domain, and their people are visible online. The waterfall finds and verifies them more often.
Sectors made of small or frontline businesses, such as accommodation and food, retail or construction, rely more on shared or personal addresses, which we don’t count as professional. Their owners are often easier to reach on mobile: switch the chart to Mobile to compare.
Public administration and education publish less contact data and apply stricter rules on it, so both rates sit below average.
Each industry also mixes different countries and roles in our customers’ requests, which moves its rate too.
One search, 40+ data providers
Zeliq asks provider after provider until one finds your contact. Every email is verified twice before it reaches you.
- 1Checked by the provider that finds it
- 2Checked again by Zeliq: invalid and risky emails are thrown out
- ✓Thrown-out emails cost nothing: we ask the next provider
Listed in the order the email and mobile waterfalls run in production.

How we measure
Fresh every week, and clear about what the numbers don’t tell you.
How fresh are these numbers?
We recompute them every Friday on the last 30 days of requests, so a change in the waterfall shows up within a week. The contacts themselves come from a database updated every week and from the providers the waterfall asks at the moment you enrich.
When should I read a rate with care?
When it rests on few requests. A country or industry with fewer than 1,000 requests in 30 days is marked ⓘ: one large customer list can move it by several points from one week to the next. The sample is also made of the contacts our customers chose to enrich, so it leans towards France and towards the roles they sell to.
Is a hit rate the same as accuracy?
No. A hit is a contact for which Zeliq returned an email or a mobile number; the rate is hits divided by the contacts our customers sent to enrichment. Only emails that passed both checks, the provider's and ours, count as found. A hit rate is still not a deliverability rate.
Where do these numbers come from?
Every enrichment launched from the Zeliq app and Chrome extension over the last 30 days. Partner API traffic and Zeliq's own test accounts are left out. The numbers are recomputed every Friday.
What happens when an email fails your check?
It is thrown out and never reaches you. The waterfall moves on to the next provider, and you are not charged for the rejected email.
Why don’t you publish a benchmark?
Because one number would mislead. A hit rate depends on the country, the industry, the seniority of the people you target and the list you start from: on our own data, the verified email hit rate ranges widely across industries. A fair comparison between providers needs the same list and the same definitions, which public claims rarely share. So we break our numbers down by country and industry instead.
How do I compare Zeliq with another provider?
Run both on the same list of your own prospects and compare the same thing: professional emails that pass verification, and mobiles, not raw coverage. Then send, and compare bounces. The free trial gives you 50 credits to do exactly that. In an independent test by Salesdorado, Zeliq’s French and European mobile data often came out ahead of Kaspr and Lusha.
Are the phone numbers mobiles?
Yes. The phone waterfall looks for mobile numbers, so your reps reach the person rather than a switchboard.
What does a contact cost?
Searching the database is free. A found email costs 1 credit (included on Advanced and Enterprise plans) and a found mobile 10 credits. When we find nothing, no credit is used. Credits are shared across your team and never expire.
